This is a wonderful sleeping masks. Having oily and dehydrated skin, most sleeping masks are far too greasy or occlusive for my skin and I will wake up with whiteheads everywhere. Cica Sleeping Mask from Laneige doesn’t do this to me. At all. My face feels so smooth and the redness from my breakouts is reduced substantially. Great mask. It feels amazing. Will update my review if I can later to share my results.

This is a more tone down version of the Cosrx Centella cream. Nevertheless, it still a really effective sleeping mask to calm down trouble skin when needed and the fragrance is not as strong as the Cosrx Centella cream.

Laneige sleeping masks are hyped a lot on the internet, but I cannot understand why. In general, I love Cantella Asiatica (Cica) because it reduces redness and this sleeping mask does so, too, but it also caused some pimples on my face. It is very moisturizing and nourishing but it contains a lot of acne triggers if you check the ingredients list. My mum who has Rosacea tried this mask also a few times and had the same issue. Every time she uses this sleeping mask some pimples occur. We both love for example the Madecassoside Ampule from A’pieu which contains only Centella Asiatica and we did not have any issues with this extract itself. But this sleeping mask which contains additional substances triggers small acne spots. Therefore, I think it is a great product for people with less sensitive skin.
